"Build Better and Serve Stirling " is the name for a major project that has transformed the Stirling Methodist Church premises and created a building to meet 21st century needs for church and community use.
Stirling Methodist Church hosted a hustings in advance of the General Election on 4 July 2024, sponsored by Friends of the Earth Scotland and featuring candidates for the Stirling and Strathallan constituency. Over 60 people attended in the building plus a further dozen joining online. The hustings focused on issues of climate change and climate justice - matters somewhat overlooked by the general election campaigns.
Stirling Methodist Church is committed to action against climate change. We have been pressing for divestment from companies involved in the extraction of fossil fuels.
